Chelsea U21s Draw 1-1 with Leicester City U21s
Chelsea U21s came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with Leicester City U21s in Premier League 2 on Monday afternoon.
The Blues fell behind to a goal from Nelson in the first half, but McNeilly equalized for Chelsea U21s in the second half.
The draw leaves Chelsea U21s in fourth place in the Premier League 2 table, while Leicester City U21s are in fifth place.
Chelsea U21s started the game brightly and created a number of chances in the early stages. However, it was Leicester City U21s who took the lead in the 25th minute when Nelson fired home from close range.
Chelsea U21s continued to press for an equalizer and they were finally rewarded in the 65th minute when McNeilly headed home from a corner.
Both teams had chances to win the game in the closing stages, but neither side could find a winner.
The draw was a fair result in the end and Chelsea U21s will be pleased to have come from behind to earn a point.
